2006 Midwest City Spring Spectacular

The U8 Girls Sapulpa Strikers attended thier 4th tournament as a U8 team this April, the Midwest City Spring Spectacular. All of the girls that went to the first tournament are of course not still on the team, but many are. This was our first out of town tournament and the girls had a blast! The competition was great, and though we came away with 1 win and 2 losses, it really isn't about winning and losing - especially at this age. It is about hanging out with friends and family while enjoying a high level of competition.

This was an excellent tournament. It was well run and the staff was very helpful and kind. The fields were well kept. The officiating was well done. The competition level was high. I was surprised to see we were one of only a couple of teams from Northeast OK to attend this tournament. I would recommend it as a tournament for travel.
